The Smooth 6.45M utilizes a powerful 3.0 HP motor. This unit has more power than a regular drive system and is controlled by a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) electronics usually only found on high end commercial treadmills.

This motor is for all practical purposes noise-free. Optical speed sensors and the PWM electronics provide smooth speed changes whilst dual motor fans allows you to exercise for longer periods while maintaining a smooth and consistent operation.
